PThe Roma population is seen as a vulnerable group of the population that requires more attention from the government. The vicious circle of poverty, unemployment and limited access to public services has exposed the Roma population to even greater vulnerability and marginalisation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis and the outbreak of the Russian Federation's war of aggression against Ukraine.
The members of the Public Association are community mediators in the localities where the position has been established.
The National Association of Community Mediators of the Republic of Moldova is a republican, non-governmental, apolitical, non-profit public association, which operates throughout the Republic of Moldova.
The mission of ANMC: To develop the capacities and empower Roma community mediators to become active members of society, to promote lobbying and advocacy actions in order to improve the life of Roma in the RM.
